Clough, as part of the Integrate Alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the Woodman Point Water Treatment Facility Upgrade - a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.

 

We are seeking a Commissioning Lead, to support our Woodman Point Project in Henderson. Reporting to the Commissioning & Completions Manager, this site-based role will deliver the requirements of the project commissioning plans. You will also supervise resources, execute completions and commissioning activities ensuring accurate and timely reporting through to project handover to the Client, which is the Water Corporation.

Your focus will include: 

  • Develop commissioning procedures and methods that minimise risk to safety, the environment, assets and production
  • Direct supervision of the commissioning team and assisting vendors and trades positions
  • Ensure isolations and permits are prepared, designed and executed during commissioning to manage safe testing and energisation of new asset systems
  • Reporting on commissioning progress against schedule
  • Ensure installation testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning scopes of work are identified, planned, executed as per project requirements and commissioning plans.
  • Assist the Commissioning Manager in preparation and update of commissioning plans, test procedures and schedules
  • Ensure all documentation, reports and start-up deliverables are completed in a timely manner (undertake technical review of these as needed).

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • Significant demonstrated experience (min 10 years) in commissioning of complex process or infrastructure assets - preferably including water, wastewater treatment and power generation
  • Knowledge of construction / commissioning methods and standards, quality assurance, interface and handover requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of testing and commissioning of I&C, SCADA, DCS Systems
  • Knowledge of HSE and statutory requirements, including safety case, risk assessment and mitigation processes such as HAZID and HAZOP
  • Experience with EEHA, Dangerous Goods and WorkSafe testing requirements
  • Experience with HV power distribution & generation systems (11 / 22 kV)
  • Highly developed communication skills to motivate, inspire and persuade
  • Strong attention to detail, with a strong client focus.
