About the Role

The Geology Responsible supports construction activities by conducting and supervising geological field investigations in close collaboration with Engineers, ensuring full compliance with Contract Technical Specifications and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the geology section and provide technical guidance to the geology team.
• Analyze, summarize, and review geological data; prepare reports, interpret results, and provide technical recommendations.
• Perform and oversee geological core logging and interpretation of core recovery.
• Perform and oversee boreholes investigations such as water pressure tests, SPT tests, and video logging.
• Follow and monitor the excavation works both in open air and/or underground.
• Perform rock mass classification, identify and coordinate with Designer Consultant slope support system and primary lining support applications.
• Conduct foundation inspections and assign foundation treatments.
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of geological field maps and technical reports.
• Supervise and plan field investigations, drilling, and grouting activities when required.
• Coordinate closely with Design Consultant, Engineers, Client representatives, and other departments for technical documentation and reporting.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Technical Manager.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Geology.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in geological works on large project sites.
• Proficiency in computer applications relevant to geological analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Excellent English (spoken and written).
