Role Description

The selected resource will become part of the Project Team, and will be involved in an on-the-job training path next to a senior figure. The role foresees a gradual growth for managing contracts and complex infrastructure projects, with particular attention to correctly interpret and implement contract clauses and IT systems to support the function. The resource will participate in contractual assistance with regard to the phases of acquisition and executing contracts and internal concessions with regard to contractual relations with the Client and third parties.  Moreover, the resource will participate in the process for solving controversial situations foresee by the contract.


Main responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Contract Manager in daily managing the contractual administrative and technical-administration activities;
  • Analysing the contractual conditions and main KPIs of the project (timings, costs, quality);
  • Monitoring contractual needs of clients and sub-contractors;
  • Collaborating contract management (claims, variants, time extensions);
  • Supporting drawing-up and reviewing contract documents, reports, monitoring site records;

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar disciplines (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Architecture, etc);
    resources with a post-university Master's degree (e.g.
    Construction Law, International Arbitration, ADR).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.);
  •  
  • Excellent knowledge of English (Knowledge of other languages is a plus);
  • Willingness to move abroad for the entire duration of the project.

Knowledge of the main international contract standard principles concerning work contracts is a plus.
