Parklife Metro JV is leading the delivery of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project, a landmark transport initiative that will link St Marys to Bradfield and seamlessly connect with the new Western Sydney Airport.

This visionary project driven by a joint venture between Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild includes the construction of six new stations, 12 state-of-the-art metro trains, advanced rail systems, and a modern stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.

The Opportunity:

Employed by Webuild, Parklife Metro is seeking a Fit-Out Site Engineer to join our team based at Badgerys Creek.

As a Fit-Out Site Engineer you will coordinate the construction and fit-out of the station from the structural shell through to completion. The role will involve coordinating subcontractors and trades, reviewing drawings and specifications, resolving design and construction issues, monitoring progress and quality, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinating day-to-day station fit-out and finishing works.
• Managing interfaces between different trades, subcontractors and engineering disciplines.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, RFIs and design changes.
• Monitoring construction progress, quality and compliance.
• Supporting inspections, ITPs, QA documentation and defect close-out.
• Coordinating architectural finishes, building elements and associated services.
• Working with the construction team to resolve site issues and maintain program.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and handover of completed station areas.
• Ensuring works are undertaken in accordance with Parklife Metro/SSTOM requirements, safety standards and approved documentation. 
  

Criteria:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Engineering
• Experience in delivering large-scale, complex building or infrastructure projects with top-tier contractors.   
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
