Parklife Metro JV is leading the delivery of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project, a landmark transport initiative that will link St Marys to Bradfield and seamlessly connect with the new Western Sydney Airport.
This visionary project driven by a joint venture between Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild includes the construction of six new stations, 12 state-of-the-art metro trains, advanced rail systems, and a modern stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.

The Opportunity:
Employed by Webuild, Parklife Metro is seeking an MEP Site Engineer to join our team based at Orchard Hills.
As an MEP Site Engineer, you will assist in providing project solutions for high/low voltage and communication infrastructure. Reporting to the Electrical Senior project Engineer. This position will support the team to coordinate design, construction and commissioning activities, lead and manage engineering and electrical staff and contractors, plant, and equipment to deliver our project outcomes
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supporting the preparation of detailed electrical power and control system designs, including CAD drafting, equipment specification, and project documentation
- Draft SOW and design documentation for suppliers
- Provide design inputs and reviews of other projects
- Drive product roadmap & initiatives, and participate in technical design
- Resolve systematic issues providing short, medium, and long-term solutions
- To provide the technical support to the Electrical SPE in coordination meetings with Client and Suppliers and 3rd Parties in general
- To provide the technical support in the definition of interface related to Electrical systems with Civil Works, Rail Systems, Rolling Stock, O&M, 3rd Parties in general
- To assist Procurement Team on technical queries during the bidding stage. To provide proper feedback for technical alignment of the quotation from the market. To follow up S/c and Manufacturers in the preparation and review of Material Submittal
- To follow up S/c and Manufacturers in the preparation and review of Working Drawings
- To follow up S/c in the preparation and review of DCR, FCR, NCR
- To follow up S/c and Manufacturers in the preparation and review of Test Procedures and Plan
- To provide the technical support in troubleshooting and problem-solving during T&C
- Provide support on planning the use of materials, resources, components or systems within the project to ensure project success, value for money and best practice are achieved
- Coordinate resource allocation with the expectation that you would encourage effective teamwork and foster a positive attitude toward the achievement of organisational objectives
- Interface regularly with our internal discipline leads and design teams
Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Engineering) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with MEP within the construction industry - preferably with a Tier 1 or 2 company
- Willingness to learn
