The Electrical Estimator plays a pivotal role in supporting Webuild’s Bid Management Process by preparing detailed and accurate contract value estimates, with a particular emphasis on Transmission Lines projects. This role demands a deep understanding of high-voltage infrastructure, including overhead and underground transmission systems, substations, and associated electrical components. 

  • Develop Cost Plans for Tenders and Engineering Studies
  • Review Technical Proposals and Delivery Strategies
  • Collaborate Across National Bid Teams
  • Support Internal Approvals and Governance
  • Travel may be required during bid study periods.

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • Engineering Degree qualified with significant on the job experience. Experience with database estimating packages
  • Proficiency with CCS Candy estimating software.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills
  • Ability to develop top-down estimates based on norms and in accordance with an Area Breakdown Structure
  • 6+ years’ minimum experience in an estimating role
  • 4+ years’ experience within the Energy and Resources sector.
