Intern Third Party Risk Analyst

 

Webuild is looking for a recent and motivated graduate to be employed as a Third Party Risk Analyst position to join the Global Security & Cyber Defence Department in Rome Headquarter.

The internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk analysis and assessment, with a strong focus on preventing criminal infiltration within the supply chain.

The extracurricular internship is a 6-month training period that includes an expense reimbursement of €800 and access to the company canteen.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team in conducing security due diligence and integrity checks on third parties (especially suppliers and subcontractors).
  • Support internal work planning activities, ensuring alignment with departmental priorities and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the development of analytical reports and risk-mitigation plans, working closely with internal functions such as Compliance and Supply Chain.
  • Assist in identifying criminal risk indicators to strengthen continuous improvement of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support in the execution of risk analyses on countries, geographic areas, and strategic phenomena — including organized crime networks, extremist movements, and sociopolitical contexts — to inform decision-making related to construction site and corporate security events.
  • Assist in due-diligence processes and global threat assessments (Risk & Threat Intelligence Analyses) to support project planning and operational activities worldwide.

 

Requirements

  • Recent graduate in Law, Economics, Political Science, or Humanities degrees with a focus on security studies, criminology, or investigative sciences.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools; experience with data analysis / Osint tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data from diverse sources with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity and interest in corporate integrity is a plus.
