Webuild is hiring a Corporate Social Responsibility Expert for its Rome office.

 

Responsibilities

The resource, reporting directly to the CSR Department Director, will specifically deal with the following activities:

  • Activities aimed at guaranteeing the Company's adherence to international CSR best practices, through benchmarking, gap analyses, definition and implementation of improvement plans/programmes/sustainability projects, ensuring the necessary coordination with the other departments/functions involved;
  • Updating and monitoring the functioning of the non-financial reporting system and processing of the Non-Financial Report (Sustainability Report), according to the applicable regulations and standards;
  • Managing relations with the Company's stakeholders on CSR issues (e.g., sustainability organizations, ESG rating agencies, investors/lenders, etc.) in coordination with the other departments/functions involved;
  • Supporting activities of other company departments/functions on CSR issues (e.g., pre-qualifications and tenders, internal and external communication, M&A, operations, etc.) ensuring their correct and timely processing;
  • Sustainable finance tool activities;
  • Supervising the process of reducing C02 emissions and the targets related to them (like LTI and bond related ones).

 

Requirements

  • Masters of Science;
  • Previous experience in the same role;
  • Good knowledge of standards and regulations on non-financial reporting (GRI, EU directive 2014/95, Legislative Decree. 254/2016, SASB, etc.);
  • Good knowledge of the main international sustainability standards (UN Global Compact, ISO 26000, SA 8000, UNGP B & Human Rights, OECD Guidelines, AA 1000, etc.);
  • Basic knowledge of the main sustainability standards adopted by international financial institutions (IFC, Equator Principles, WCD, etc.);
  • Good ability to analyse, verify and interpret non-financial/sustainability data and information;
  • Good skills in word processing and complex documents (e.g.. reports, plans, analyses, etc.) regarding sustainability;
  • Good CSR process and activity related skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of environmental topics (CO2 reduction, biodiversity, climate change)
  • Excellent English knowledge, both written and spoken.
