Webuild Italia S.p.A., for the Rome HQ, is looking for a Contract Management Area Manager, that will join the Corporate Contract Management structure.

 

Responsibilities:
The candidate will hierarchically report to the Director of the Corporate Contract Management structure. He/she will be responsible for coordinating with the Contract Managers of the project sites, providing all the required support to properly manage the contracts, also with the capacity of interrelating and liaising with the representatives of the Client and different project stakeholders.
Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

  • analysing contractual and project risks pursuant to reference regulations;
  • supporting the project sites Project Managers and Contract Managers in preventively analysing all contractual and regulatory implications, preventing any consequences related to the actions undertaken;
  • supporting and coordinating the preparation and management of the claims, with the aim of ensuring an optimal solution for safeguarding the company;
  • assessing the risks related to the contract linked to the tender;
  • supporting litigation, particularly in managing the activities of the technical Advisory Boards, curating the relationship with all counsels and external technical experts appointed for such activities;
  • coordinating the drawing up and the updating of the required reports;
  • eventual mandates in project committees.

 

Requirements:

  • a minimum experience of 10 years in a similar role in Italy, in a company, or also in professional firms specialising in infrastructure;
  • perfect knowledge of all aspects related to the contracting process;
  • perfect understanding of complex infrastructural projects;
  • perfect knowledge of the Public Works Code;
  • an understanding of the key commercial risks and capacity of managing the reviewieng process of contractual risks and all related checks;
  • a Law Degree would be preferable;
  • good communication, writing and negotiating skills;
  • aptitude for interpersonal relations and the capacity to support one's opinion in the various required contexts, in a convincing and positive way, particularly when having to interact with the Client.
