Junior Site Engineer

Webuild is looking for talented and motivated Junior Civil Engineers to join its major infrastructure and construction projects in Saudi Arabia.

Selected candidates will join dynamic Project Teams and/or country management teams and will be involved in large-scale civil engineering, construction and project controlling activities in an international and multicultural work environment.

Role Overview

As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will participate in a structured induction and on-the-job training program alongside experienced professionals and senior managers, gaining exposure in the key aspects of infrastructure project execution, management and control

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Construction, Planning, Contracts, Procurement, Quality, and HSE functions, contributing to the success of the projects.

Key Activities

• Contribute to the preparation and study of the project work schedule, starting from the analysis of the operational work cycles of the construction of major activities (main production rates), arriving at the sequencing of the activities and the preparation of the works schedule;
• Review the work schedules and majors Project critical paths, identifying major issues and planning mitigation measures; construction site inspections with the construction team and coordination for technical-operational support;
• Prepare and verify the principals Project control KPIs;
• Assist in the review of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Support project cost control, budgeting, and quantity tracking processes.
• Assist in the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor compliance with quality standards, project procedures, and contractual requirements.
•  Assist and support Project management in weekly progress meetings with Clients and/or engineers, ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in civil engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of motivation, commitment, and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
