Clough Wood Joint Venture maximises the life and profitability of our client’s assets by delivering reliable, schedule driven and cost-effective services. The Mechanical Technician / Flange Management positon is working on the Client’s Bayu-Undan offshore facilities project. 

We are seeking a Scaffolder Supervisor to join our team on Bayu Undan to provide supervision of scaffolding discipline trades to support the completion of offshore work in a safe and productive manner. Including:

  • Guide and provide support to ensure a strong HSSE culture is maintained with proactive actions
  • Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring support to discipline trades personnel
  • Ensure execution of deliverables are achieved to HSSE, Quality and Schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to offshore discipline through the completion of scope ensuring flexibility to complete physical execution activities where required
  • Ensure team members understand safety requirements, scope of works, quality standards and timeframes required to complete the scope of work
  • Ensure deliverables are completed in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with Client specifications and nominated standards
  • Establish trust-based relationships with all onshore and offshore stakeholders 
  • Ensure work packs, ITPs and maintenance procedures are followed during offshore implementation
  • Ensure all relevant reporting and management systems are updated as required
  • Provide ‘hands on’ operational support to teams where required.

 

Qualification/Skills

 

  • Certificate of Competency in Scaffolding (Advanced)
  • Minimum 5 years in scaffolding industry.
  • Minimum 2-year offshore experience.
  • Current T/BOSIET
  • Working Safely at Heights
  • Advanced Scaffolding Verification of Competency (VOC)

 

Desirable

 

  • Experience in Oil & Gas construction and maintenance industry as a Scaffolder
  • Enter and Work in Confined Space
  • Operate Breathing Apparatus
  • Provide First Aid Certificate
