Project Accountant

We are looking for expressions of interest for an experienced Project Accountant to join the Finance Team in Perth for an upcoming Power project located in Perth's South! In this role, you will effectively manage, monitor, and report on the financial health of the project, ensuring they stay within budget, meet financial targets, and comply with contracts .

Your focus will include:
- Ensure that all accounting processes comply with IFRS and company procedures and that accounting records correctly reflect the entity and project costs assets and liabilities
- Ensure that all Project reporting requirements are met in accordance to relevant agreements in place
- Ensure all reporting and/or lodgement requirements are both timely and accurate
- Ensure all Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis
- Ensure all supplier invoices are paid in accordance to relevant terms of payment
- Ensure that all cash inflows & outflows are properly accounted for to reflect the current status of the projects cash position
What you will bring to the team:
- Previous experience in a similar position within Construction, Energy and resources or Infrstructure
- Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting
- Previous commercial/project finance experience
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP is desired
- Proficient in excel and PowerBI
