Finance BI & Analytics Senior Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance BI & Analytics Senior Analyst to join the BI Team in Perth! In this role, you will be accountable for enterprise financial reporting integrity, CFO-ready insight, and the governance of financial data models, metrics and reporting logic.

The role operates as an expert advisor to Finance, and executive stakeholders, ensuring that reporting outputs used for executive, board, audit, regulatory and performance decision-making are accurate, reconciled, governed and fit for purpose.

Your focus will include:

• Own the integrity, governance and consistency of enterprise financial reporting models, metrics and reporting logic.
• Design and Development of BI outputs used for executive, board, audit or regulatory purposes are accurate, controlled and fit for purpose.
• Act as expert advisor to CFO, Finance, and executive stakeholders on reporting, performance insight and data interpretation.
• Translate complex financial and operational questions into governed data models and executive-ready insights.
• Lead resolution of complex financial data, reconciliation, control and reporting integrity issues.
• Establish reporting controls, validation approaches and governance practices aligned with Finance and audit expectations.
• Support and inform organisation with best practice development and governance to internal stakeholders or delivery resources where escalation requires specialist financial BI input.

What you will bring to the team:

• 8–10+ years’ experience in BI, financial reporting, analytics, data governance or enterprise reporting roles.
• Demonstrated experience owning complex financial or enterprise reporting models.
• Advanced capability in Power BI, semantic modelling, DAX, SQL, ETL and data integration.
• Clear understanding of the role AI plays and ability to incorporate new practices into developments.
• Proven experience working directly with senior Finance executive stakeholders.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Information Technology, Business, Data Analytics, Information Management or equivalent senior experience.
