We are inviting expressions of interest for a highly experienced Lead Mechanical/Piping Designer to join our Engineering Team in Perth working on an an upcoming power project in WA! In this role, you will effectively be responsible for technical deliverables working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely, cost effective and fit for purpose engineering and design output complying with company requirements.

Your focus will include:
- Deputise for the Chief Mechanical/Piping Engineer
- Accountable for performance and delivery of mechanical and piping design/drafting services against agreed project budgets and schedules
- Responsible for the technical correctness and compliance with standard procedures and design basis
- Responsible for development of 2D drawings and 3D modelling
- Development of MTOs, BoMs, and other documents required for procurement
- Supporting development of workpacks, sketches, registers, lists, schedules
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in design of projects in the oil & gas, LNG, minerals processing and/or petrochemical industries
- Proficient in 2D drafting, 3D modelling and generating MTOs, pipe isometrics and other drawings
- Independent starter of equipment and piping layouts; apply adequate separations complying with standards and relevant legislation
- Management of the piping specs/ catalogue development in SMAT, Bulkload / pipe catalogue activities, project S3D administration
- Strong expertise in delivery concept development, FEED, EPC (greenfield and brownfield) experience
- Proven Australian experience in complex projects
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering TAFE, Certificate in Mechanical Engineering) preferred
