We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager to join the Finance Team in Perth! In this role, you will oversee the organisation's financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation legislation, statutory requirements, and Group reporting obligations.

Your focus will include:
- Ensure that the company’s financial statements and accounting records are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company policies, applicable accounting standards, and statutory requirements. Lead and oversee all local consolidation requirements.
- Coordinate, review, and prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements, including supporting schedules and management reports. Strengthening month end, year end and consolidation processes.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes, including Group reporting in accordance with Group reporting requirements, accounting policies, and established deadlines.
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the general ledger and ensure all transactions are appropriately recorded, supported, and reconciled. Improving controls, systems and financial governance.
- Work closely with the Accounts Payable Supervisor and Accounting Manager to support the effective operation of the Finance function, and assist with the supervision, training, and development of Finance Office staff by providing appropriate guidance and support.
- Coordinate and manage Internal and External Audit requirements, including the timely provision of supporting documentation, schedules, reconciliations, and other requested financial information.
What you will bring to the team:
- Previous experience in an Accounting Manager role within a large corporation.
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with a track record of translating complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines.
- Strong leadership, clear communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Tertiary qualifications.
- CPA/CA certification.
