Webuild is looking for a Vendor Management Senior Manager for the Corporate office in Milan. The new resource will directly report to the Procurement Director, defining Vendor Management strategies and managing relations with suppliers in compliance with company procedures and current regulations.

Main responsibilities

• Definition of the supplier qualification process, in order to guarantee the coverage of the Vendor list for the procurement needs of goods, services, contracts in the different geographical areas;
• Management and updating of the Vendor list, with the aim of verifying and certifying the maintenance of technical, organisational and management skills, as well as compliance with quality, HSE and financial soundness requirements of suppliers, in accordance with the defined standards and the principles of the corporate model;
• Evaluation of supplier performance and, in case of negative vendor ratings, definition of recovery plans and corrective actions, verifying the achievement of objectives;
• Responsibility in the supply chain for the implementation of ESG principles, including evaluation of the supplier base;
• Coordination of supplier quality engineering activities to ensure that suppliers meet the quality standards set by the company.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in supplier management in multinational companies;
• Master's degree in Engineering, Economics or related disciplines;
• Fluent knowledge of English. Knowledge of other languages is appreciated;
• Managerial skills and ability to coordinate a team;
• Knowledge of the main Vendor Management methodologies and techniques (selection, development and management of the supply base) and evaluation techniques;
• Excellent command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Availability for travel, including international travel;
• Strong organisational and decision-making skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
