Procurement Controlling Senior Manager

Webuild is looking for a Procurement Controlling Senior Manager for the Milan’ headquarter. The new hired will be placed in the Budgeting & Planning department and will functionally collaborate with the Global Supply Chain department.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide management control for the Procurement department, ensuring accurate monitoring of costs and investments related to assets, direct and indirect materials;
• Develop and implement a control system for monitoring expenses related to production assets, operating costs and business investments;
• Perform variance analysis and provide periodic reports to management to support strategic decisions;
• Collaborate with AFC and Procurement departments to align business objectives with expenditure control and optimisation needs;
• Monitor and manage procurement-related KPIs and propose corrective actions to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to budgets;
• Use SAP to monitor and analyse financial and operational data related to procurement;
• Collaborate with different business functions (e.g. Operations, Logistics) to optimise resource allocation and maximise return on investment.

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics or related disciplines. A Master's degree in Business Administration is preferable;
• At least 5-10 years' experience in management control, with a specific focus on procurement and cost management activities;
• Fluent knowledge of Italian and English. Knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus;
• Expertise in implementing management control systems for monitoring direct, indirect and investment costs;
• Experience in variance monitoring and financial analysis management;
• Excellent knowledge of SAP and ability to use it for reporting and analysis activities;
• Knowledge of planning software;
• Knowledge of management/balance sheet consolidation logic;
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail;
• Leadership and team management skills, with a results-oriented approach;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for working in complex and dynamic environments.
