Plants Analyst - Draftsman

Webuild is looking for a Draftsman at first experience or with minimum experience (max 1 year) for the role of Plants Analyst.

The new resource will be placed in the Plant & Equipment function of Corporate in the Milan office and will be responsible for the study of project construction sites, with graphic elaboration of logistic layouts of production plants.

The person, working alongside the Plants Manager, will be involved in the following activities:

• • Involvement in the tender phase, with study of the project specifications to identify the methods necessary for the definition of the site logistics, in particular for: positioning of the production plants; phasing of the assembly of the TBM excavation machines; logistics of the materials and concrete processing plants
  • Involvement in the start-up phase of the projects in the technical meetings with the project designers and/or site technical office managers
  • Follow-up and technical support at construction sites during project implementation phase
  • Specialized technical assistance to job orders, in collaboration with the Plants group and the TBM group, in the analysis of problems, supporting in the development of proposals and improved technical solutions
  • Collaboration with other business functions at various stages of project life
  • Collaborate with other business functions during various phases of project life
  • Communicating and cooperating effectively with the internal working group, site operating figures and/or suppliers regarding plant engineering issues
  • Participation in transversal Corporate projects, both with regard to innovations developed and/or to be developed, and with involvement in general projects extended to the entire Group.

Requirements:

• • Industrial technician diploma or three-year degree in mechanical engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of Autocad 2024
  • Civil3D knowledge appreciated
  • Preferable on site experience on construction sites of large civil works, in the Technical Design Office environment 
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
