Webuild is looking for a Material Management Expert, based in Milan, to be employed in the Global Supply Chain function.

Main responsibilities

- Support during the start-up phase of construction sites, ensuring smooth and effective implementation of organisation, processes, physical areas, systems and tools;

- Support during the entire site lifecycle, ensuring that warehouse operations are managed effectively and cost-efficiently and in line with Group and site objectives;

- Support in the implementation of processes, policies and procedures during the entire worksite warehouse life cycle;

- Management of product codes in line with HQ policies and procedures, ensuring implementation and adequate education and training to all personnel involved;

- Use of reporting system (metrics, KPIs, etc.) in line with HQ policies and procedures;

- Implementation and maintenance of appropriate systems and tools in line with HQ policies and procedures;

- Implementation, monitoring and support to achieve targets aligned with Group objectives;

- Compliance with company policies and procedures issued and amended from time to time;

- Project management and planning;

- Ability to prepare and manage budgets, cost analysis, business cases, improvement plans, cost reduction and optimisation plans.

Requirements

- Degree in Management Engineering, Logistics or similar;

- Professional knowledge of Italian and English;

- At least 5-7 years of experience in similar roles;

- Availability for travel in Italy and abroad;

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package and SAP;

- Basic knowledge of materials and master data;

- Advanced skills in numerical and complex analysis, data-driven mindset;

- Soft skills: communication and interpersonal skills; precision and reliability; natural aptitude for tidiness; strong result orientation.

The following are welcome:

- Knowledge of the Spanish language;

- Experience on construction sites or in companies working on a contract basis;

- Experience in structured and international organisations;

- Experience with technical and regulatory aspects related to all field activities (handling, storage, etc.) and with tools, equipment, technological devices, techniques and methodologies related to the modern management of complex warehouses;

- Structured experience with KPIs and scorecards;

- Experience in the definition of lay-outs, optimisation of existing lay-outs and planning of activities.
