We are looking for an International Tax Expert for the Group Finance area, based in Milan. The ideal profile has at least 4-5 years of experience in domestic and international taxation at consulting firms, multinational companies or accounting firms.

The Tax department is in charge of: supervising direct and indirect tax related observances; planning and optimizing the tax burden based on contractual and international taxation; analyzing tax issues and verifying their impact; carrying out possible tax reviews of internal procedures and assessing critical issues inherent to specific regulations.

Main Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Tax Director, the person will be responsible for:

• Managing domestic and international tax compliance for the Group;
• Supporting joint ventures and Group Companies on complex tax issues and disputes, including drafting and disseminating tax circulars and opinions;
• Activities to implement what is necessary for the purposes of Global Minimum Tax (so-called Pillar2);
• Continuous updating on current tax legislation;
• Manage requests from the Independent Auditors and Internal Control Bodies;
• Support the Director in managing tax litigation and audits;
• Maintain the tax file, tax database, and litigation database.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Master in tax law preferred;
• At least 4-5 years' experience in consulting firms, structured companies or accounting firms;
• Solid knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel;
• Knowledge of national and international tax principles and regulations for direct and indirect tax purposes;
• Fluent English. Knowledge of French and Spanish is appreciated;
• Analytical and synthesis skills;
• Availability to travel.
