For our Milan offices, we are hiring a Functional Development & Support Specialist.

The candidate will join our IT and Digital Systems Department and will directly report to the Functional Development & Support Manager.

He/She will be directly involved in Business Intelligence and Performance Management activities, both in Italy and abroad, for Bidding and Project Control area, being responsible for the worldwide digitalization processes both for the tendering and the execution phases of the projects.

We are looking for a person who is passionate about technology, with logic and problem solving skills, and who can develop feasible solutions by also respecting economic efficiency and effectiveness criteria.

The role's main responsibilities include:
 

• Collecting and analysing functional requisites and subsequently writing technical specifications and implementing solutions of corporate Business Application activities;
• Managing the system support and maintenance process, especially focusing on project post-go live phases;
• Intervening during the continuous training process of "key users" (both in Italy and abroad), aimed at acquiring useful skills to correctly use identified technological solutions;
• Actively participating during the scouting and identifications phase of technological partners (e.g. System Integrators, Developers, etc), and managing their interfaces.

Requirements:
 

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunication, Mathematics or similar disciplines;
• Candidates must have graduated with at least 100/110
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience at functionally developing advanced technological solutions, preferably in international companies with a project-based business and/or medium-large consulting firms;
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI;
• Excellent English knowledge, both written and spoken;
• Willingness to travel frequently in Italy and abroad.

Nice to have:
 

• Control of the main Project Control and BIM concepts;
• Knowledge of the main databases, PL-SQL and multi-dimensional models (OLAP)
• Knowledge of tools such as Oracle Primavera P6, Synchro PRO, CCS_Candy, STR Vision CPM or similar, Power BI;
