Webuild is looking for an Employment and Industrial Relations Manager to strengthen the direction and coordination activities on labour and trade union issues of projects in Italy. The place of work may be Rome or Milan.
The resource - who will be included in the Employment, Industrial Relations and Immigration Team within the Human Resources and Organisation area - must possess a solid knowledge of labour law and trade union relations, with proven practical experience in managing complex processes in large industrial companies.
Main responsibilities
- Providing strategic advice and operational support to HR Managers of the Group's companies in Italy on complex labour and trade union law issues;
- Participating in trade union negotiations, drafting texts and materials;
- Manage disciplinary proceedings;
- Manage individual or collective disputes, instructing cases and preparing defences in collaboration with external consultants (e.g. gathering and analysing documents, examining the case, defining strategy with external lawyers, etc.);
- Monitoring regulatory and jurisprudential updates, as well as best practices developed by other companies even in different sectors;
- Prepare documents and training sessions.
Requirements
- Law degree;
- At least 8 years' experience in the operational management of complex labour and trade union law issues, gained either in specialised law firms or in large industrial companies;
- Experience in negotiating company collective agreements;
- Experience in managing the extrajudicial and judicial phase of labour disputes;
- Willingness to frequently travel throughout the country.
