Webuild is looking for a Commercial Manager for North Africa and New Markets. The place of work will be either Milan (Assago Milanofiori) or Rome (Tiburtina), depending on the preference of the selected candidate. At least 5-10 years of experience in similar positions is required, preferably in the development, construction and management of large-scale projects and infrastructure.

This role requires being responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities for the relevant area with the aim of supporting growth, as well as strategically planning the Group's positioning in the markets. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying and developing new markets and sectors.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and implement the Group's commercial strategy in North Africa and new markets, in line with global objectives;
  • Promote commercial development, coordinating research and analysis activities in existing and new markets (e.g. floating offshore wind) and business opportunities based on the Commercial Plan and Group strategies;
  • Develop and manage relationships with key potential and existing clients, acting as the Group's focal point for all commercial issues;
  • Build and consolidate relationships with key partners and stakeholders, contribute to the drafting of collaboration agreements (e.g. NDAs, MoUs,JVAs, etc.) and ensure their negotiation and signing in accordance with tender timelines and the requirements of the Group's commercial process;
  • Contribute to pre-qualification processes and international tenders, collecting and providing the necessary documentation;
  • Monitor the performance of commercial initiatives, preparing specific reports for your manager and Senior Management;
  • Contribute to the planning and definition of commercial objectives and the control of the commercial activities budget.

 

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Economics or related fields;
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably in the development, construction and management of large-scale projects and infrastructure;
  • Sound knowledge of:
    • Contracts and financing related to complex projects;
    • Development and implementation of large-scale infrastructure and projects in various relevant sectors;
    • Applicable international regulations;
    • National/international pre-qualification and tendering processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills, combined with a strong aptitude for international networking;
  • Willingness to travel internationally in areas of expertise;
  • Excellent knowledge of Italian and English. Knowledge of French, Portuguese or other languages is welcome.
