The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. 

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

General Services Trade Assistant is responsible to assist the maintenance team with the repairs & maintenance of all assets & equipment associated to camps, site offices, cribs & ablutions & common area facilities:

  • Self-Starter
  • Attention to Detail
  • General Site Maintenance across all assets and Equipment.
  • Handyman duties - replacing locks/door handles/washers and general camp maintenance
  • Problem solving & finding to solutions asset & equipment failures etc.

A problem solver who is able to understand & investigate faults & concerns & devise a plan for how to proceed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENT

  • At least two (2) years in a similar role
  • A valid driver s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Remote experience (preferable)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to operate in a climate of confidentiality requiring professionalism and discretion
  • Reliable and dependable attendance in a remote setting
  • Must pass all pre-employment contract requirements which may include but are not limited to, drug, alcohol & fitness testing
  • Accustomed to living in dormitory style/remote camp settings
  • Test & Tag Certification (Preferable)
  • Tickets – working at heights, confined space etc (preferable)

 

 

 

  • A problem solver who is able to understand & investigate faults & concerns & devise a plan for how to proceed.
  • The position will work closely with a diverse range of people, it is critical that you are able to interact with all levels of personnel
  • Previous exposure to domestic/commercial and catering equipment maintenance, repairs and installation work.
  • Identify and troubleshoot breakdown faults and hazards.
  • Experience in computer-based maintenance systems (Preferable)
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Current Driver’s license
  • Ability to Pass a Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness
