The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. 

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

Purpose of the Role:

The Receptionist will meet and greet all visitors to the FGJV office, provide administrative support to the project’s departments, ensure general housekeeping of the office and all other ad hoc administrative duties as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Cert III in Business Administration – Preferred but not essential
  • White Card

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred
  • Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works
  • Experience of fast paced, deadline driven environments
  • Experience of multi-disciplined environments
  • Previous administration experience in a generalist function coupled with extensive experience in a professional office environment
  • Previous experience and knowledge regarding the use of office equipment, such as; scanners, photocopiers and printers etc.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word and Excel

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet all visitors, check their appointment with FGJV personnel
  • Collect and sort Office mail - logs and distributes accurately
  • Answer, filter and direct all incoming calls to the office
  • Arrange ordering of communal office stock
  • Assist with the project’s meetings, workshops and functions
  • Provide administration support to various project departments
  • Act as the point of contacts for SI NRW JV personnel for administrative matters
  • Provide internal communication as instructed
  • Assist with all other ad hoc administrative duties as they arise
  • Maintains kitchen supplies
