The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. 

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

Purpose of the Role:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the team that ensures that all maintenance activities within the organization comply with regulatory standards and internal policies. This role involves supporting the maintenance teams with the implementation of a CMMS to keep track of all maintenance activities, conducting regular audits, and implementing compliance programs to ensure the safety and efficiency of operations.

Qualifications:

  • Driving License – Heavy vehicles
  • White Card

Experience:

  • Experience in civil or tunnelling construction, typically 5+ years.
  • Experience in managing a team of 5+ people.
  • Experience in maintenance management process (through CMMS or other).
  • Experience developing and rollout a CMMS.
  • Experience in basic use of Microsoft Office Suite, data and file recording.
  • Experience in Planning & Resourcing

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures through the appropriate channels that the team has enough resources to complete their objectives
  • Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Creates & Maintains KPIs to ensure the team members are achieving their goals.
  • Provides regular feedback and KPIs to P&E Management to display compliance and measures taken to improve or correct any non-compliances.
  • Policy Implementation: Develop, update, and enforce maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Training: Design and deliver training programs for maintenance staff on compliance and safety standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management.
  • Coordination: Work closely with other departments to ensure maintenance activities align with overall business objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Request contracts and agreements with external vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • FMS Compliance: Oversee and ensure through the team that all compliance is reflected on the Fleet Management System (FMS).
  • Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance activities.
  • Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to monitor and analyse maintenance performance and ensure the Fleet Management System (FMS) is kept up to date with accurate and relevant information.
