The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. 

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

Purpose of the Role

The Advisor – HSE Reporting & Data Analytics is responsible for analysing and interpreting HSE data to deliver insights that inform business decisions. This role involves creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and other data visualisation tools that effectively communicate performance metrics and key statistics to stakeholders. Additionally, the Advisor will provide general administrative support to the broader QHSE as needed.

Qualifications

  • Cert IV in Business Administration or similar
  • Cert IV Workplace Health & Safety is advantageous
  • White Card

Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a HSE Administrative role
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, or a willingness to develop proficiency

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Incident Event Database to ensure accurate and organised records.
  • Conduct analytical and trending HSE reports.
  • Perform gap analysis and evaluate activity deficiencies.
  • Maintain records, reports, and documents needed to meet corporate and regulatory requirements including those related to injuries, near misses, environmental releases and action tracking.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of information.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance reporting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics.
  • Provide administrative support to HSSE Managers as required.
  • Administer accounts and services for the HSE Department, including procurement of equipment.
  • Maintain both electronic and hard copy filing systems to ensure proper organisation and retrieval of documents.
  • Adhere to document control requirements for HSSE-related materials.
  • Establish and maintain HSSE registers, databases, and statistical data entries.
  • Ensure the efficient distribution of internal and external HSSE alerts, as directed by the manager.
  • Assist with compiling records and documents to support external reporting obligations.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required.
  • Administer supply and issuance of office-based equipment for the HSSE Team.
  • Assist the HSSE Team (Advisors / Coordinators / Managers) in their daily activities.
  • Carry out miscellaneous duties and functions relevant to the role, as assigned.
