The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. 

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

We’re hiring HR and IR Advisors for the Snowy 2.0 Project

Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is delivering one of Australia’s most iconic renewable energy projects — and we’re looking for HR and IR Advisors who can thrive in a remote, alpine environment where conditions are cold, fast‑moving, and full of challenge.

Based in Cooma and travelling regularly to Snowy 2.0 construction sites, you’ll support leaders, employees, subcontractors, and unions across a wide range of HR and industrial relations matters. This is a hands‑on role where your advice, judgement, and resilience will make a real impact.

You will:

• Provide HR/IR advice across Awards, EAs and legislation

• Support performance, conduct, investigations, and dispute resolution

• Manage union engagement and respond to industrial issues

• Coordinate subcontractor compliance and mobilisation

• Deliver training and contribute to culture and workforce initiatives

You bring:

• HR/IR experience (construction preferred) 

• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

• Confidence working across all workforce levels

• The resilience to work in cold, remote, logistically challenging locations
