The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. 

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

Purpose of the Role:

The Document Controller will support the project by maintaining project documents and assisting in data analysis and reporting obligations. This includes management of spreadsheets and use of project-specific software related to laboratory testing operations, data and reporting.  

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, science or related field is preferred

 

Experience:

  • Experience in using data entry software (eg. Excel, Geotester or Concrete Quality) as well as preparation of related documents and reports
  • Construction project or construction materials experience is preferred

 

Required Competencies:  

 

  • Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to learn and work with project specific software programs including Geotester, Concrete Quality, GLAASS and Aconex.
  • Well developed time management and organizational skills
  • Data management skills

 

 

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Control of laboratory related documentation i.e. test reports, technical summaries
  • General knowledge of project-specific testing and material requirements
  • Data input and software management for testing data
  • Communication with technicians and subcontractors relating to reporting of data
  • Preparation of technical reports
  • Data management and analysis
