The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. 

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

Purpose of the Role

The HR Reporting Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating the HR reporting function to support business needs. The role supports HR objectives by analysing workforce data, and developing reports to provide insights, inform decision-making, and improve organisational capability.

 

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration, human resources, finance, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • White Card

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in HR reporting, HR analytics and workforce analytics – preferred
  • Experience working with HRIS and/or ERP systems and processes – preferred
  • Proven experience interpreting, validating, and analysing workforce and financial data
  • Experience producing management level reports, dashboards, graphs, and written insights for varied stakeholders
  • Exposure to reporting and analytical tools such as Power BI, IBM TM1, SAP SuccessFactors - preferred
  • Experience in a project-based – preferred

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Prepare the annual HR budget and periodical updates, by collecting the information from the different departments, defining the time and costs with reference to the specific positions
  • Coordinate submission of HR budgets and revisions for approval to Project Management team in compliance with Project guidelines and governance requirements.
  • Provide recruitment and HR teams with relevant budget plan and, if required, support them in accurate implementation of the approved annual HR budget.
  • Monitor and analyse HR costs against approved budgets, identifying variances, risks and optimisation opportunities in compliance with Project guidelines and procedures.
  • Develop, produce, and maintain accurate and timely HR reports utilising the departments reporting tools and systems.
  • Conduct HR analysis and broader workforce and business analysis as required.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across HR reporting processes, data quality, analytical capability, and broader business improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare written reports and dashboards for Project Management, Corporate, Clients, other departments and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update weekly, monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual reports to ensure consistency, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Administer and support the HRIS system ensuring data integrity, appropriate system usage, and continuous improvement.
