The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. 

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

Purpose of the Role

The Plant and Equipment (P&E) Administrator provides essential administrative support to ensure the effective operation of the P&E Department. This role is responsible for coordinating day‑to‑day administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent – desirable
  • White Card
  • Relevant administrative training or industry experience – desirable

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ administrative experience, preferably in a construction or technical environment
  • Experience working with scheduling, coordination, or logistics – desirable
  • Experience working in environments with camp accommodation – desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar systems – desirable

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Plant & Equipment (P&E) Department.
  • Assist with organising meetings, preparing agendas, and distributing minutes or action items
  • Maintain and update internal databases, and tracking systems used by the P&E team.
  • Process purchase orders and administrative paperwork related to plant and equipment.
  • Monitor inboxes and respond to P&E administrative enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for P&E personnel, including flights, accommodation, and required site logistics.
  • Manage training scheduling for P&E team members, ensuring bookings, attendance, and training matrix updates are completed accurately.
  • Coordinate the mobilisation of short‑term workers, including arranging travel, accommodation, onboarding documentation, and ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate data entry for timesheets, rosters, payroll submissions.
