Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia.
The joint venture brings together experienced local personnel with global expertise and resources.

Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood, as part of Melbourne’s Suburban Rail Loop Project.
This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.

 

About the Role

We are seeking a Resourcing Advisor to join the Terra Verde team on a 12‑month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.

The Resourcing Advisor is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end recruitment services to meet Terra Verde’s operational workforce needs, with a strong focus on blue-collar recruitment and onboarding. Working closely with project and operational leaders, you’ll provide expert recruitment support across workforce planning, sourcing, selection, and onboarding in a highly competitive market.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced, project-based environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple blue-collar and trades-based roles
  • Partner with operational leaders to understand workforce requirements and project timelines
  • Proactively source candidates through a variety of channels
  • Coordinate interviews, project inductions, and pre-employment checks
  • Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through to onboarding
  • Support workforce planning and talent pipeline development
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, site, and project requirements

 

About You

You are an experienced blue-collar recruiter who enjoys working close to the business and delivering outcomes.

  • Previous experience or hands-on involvement in blue-collar, trades, or volume recruitment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and positively influence outcomes
  • A solid foundational understanding of EBAs and industrial environments, with willingness to continue building capability
  • Exposure to tunnelling, civil, construction, or heavy industry environments (highly regarded and supported to grow)
  • Hands-on experience or familiarisation with roles such as heavy diesel fitters, boilermakers, auto electricians, drill fitters, mechanical trades assistants, or similar trade-based roles
  • Strong knowledge of licenses, tickets, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
