Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia.

The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.

Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.

This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commercial Graduate to join our Commercial team and gain hands-on experience on one of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects.

This graduate opportunity is designed to provide exposure across key commercial functions including contract administration, procurement, cost management, reporting, stakeholder engagement and project controls. Working alongside experienced commercial professionals, you will develop practical skills, industry knowledge and a strong foundation for a successful career in construction and infrastructure.

This role offers structured professional development, mentoring and the opportunity to contribute to a landmark project that will leave a lasting legacy for Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support contract administration, procurement activities and subcontract management across the project.
• Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, budget monitoring and commercial reporting.
• Maintain commercial records, documentation and financial data accuracy.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and support the management of contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Planning and Finance teams.
• Participate in meetings, reporting activities and project coordination tasks.
• Contribute to commercial risk identification, governance and compliance requirements.
• Participate in structured graduate development, training and mentoring programs.

Key Requirements:

• Recent completion of a degree in Commerce, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in commercial, contractual and financial aspects of major infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across diverse teams.
• Demonstrated initiative, eagerness to learn and ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Understanding of commercial principles and contract administration concepts is desirable.
