The Bid Manager is responsible for ensuring all Bids and tenders are fully executed from start to finish, producing high quality and competitive documentation (this may include ROI’s, EOI’s and RFT’s) that meet all compliance requirements, resulting in wining new business. The Bid Manager will actively encourage ongoing maintenance of tender and Bid department portals, updating of boilerplate information as required, developing win strategies and incorporating win themes in tender responses and deducing specific tender requirements through client documentation.

Who You Are:

You are courageous, innovative, and passionate. Your focus will include:

  • Liaise with tendering team members (Internal Stakeholders) to obtain relevant tender input/information in compliance with Webuild’s Business Development and Tendering Operating Standard.
  • Collaborate with Document Control to establish tender portals/folders, ensuring all relevant team members have access and folders are correctly populated
  • Convene and attend kick-off and bid meetings as required throughout the tender cycle
  • Facilitate Win Theme Workshops with tender team.  Summarise win themes and ensure these are incorporated in the tender.
  • Prepare and submit correspondence (acknowledgments, clarifications etc) to client as needed
  • Collaborate with all discipline workstream leads in line with the RFP programme and or EOI programme. Identify gaps and or issues with progress to the programme, including mitigation inputs

What You Bring:

  • Extensive proven experience as a BID Manager within the Construction, Engineering or Design industries
  • Extensive experience in Infrastructure and Water projects
  • Sound understanding of Tendering process
  • Ability to successfully manage and empower a large team
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
