The Topography Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating multiple topographic teams across the project. This role ensures the accuracy, quality, and consistency of all survey activities required for infrastructure works, while providing technical guidance, planning, and oversight. The Coordinator will work closely with construction, engineering, and project management teams to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Team & Project Management

Lead, coordinate, and supervise several topography teams across various project areas.

Plan and allocate surveying tasks according to project priorities and deadlines.

Ensure teams comply with internal procedures, safety standards, and project specifications.

Provide technical guidance, training, and support to surveyors and technicians.

Monitor performance and ensure the timely delivery of survey outputs.

Technical Responsibilities

Oversee and perform topographic measurements for infrastructure works.

Coordinate and verify surveys required for design, construction, and quality control.

Supervise the use of specialized software for processing field measurements.

Review and validate topographic plans, maps, and digital models produced by the teams.

Lead the analysis of field data and ensure accurate mathematical calculations.

Ensure precise volume calculations for excavation and fill works.

Oversee the creation of AS-BUILT plans and ensure alignment with project requirements.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure that all survey activities meet relevant technical standards, project requirements, and legal regulations.

Implement and maintain best practices for surveying methodologies.

Guarantee proper calibration, maintenance, and use of topographic equipment.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geodesy, or a related field.

Proven experience in surveying for infrastructure construction projects.

Previous leadership or team coordination experience is an advantage.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in CAD and surveying software.

Strong knowledge of surveying methods, principles, and industry standards.

Experience with total stations, GNSS equipment, and leveling instruments.

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in dynamic environments and effectively prioritize tasks.

Solid time management and organizational skills.

Other Requirements

Valid Category B driver’s license.

Willingness to work on-site and coordinate multiple teams across project locations.
