Senior Cost Controller - M2 Riyadh

Webuild is looking for a Senior Cost Control resource to include in the Line 2 Riyadh Metro project The figure will be responsible for planning, analysing and monitoring costs - both direct and indirect ones - concerning the project's management. As part of the Cost Control team, the resource will ensure budget compliance, variation traceability and decisional support for the Project Manager during the project's entire life cycle.

Main responsibilities:

• Creating and updating the executive estimate according to the activity planning, periodically reviewing it or when significant variations occur.
• Monitoring and analysing the differences between the offer estimate , the executive estimate and the actual costs, identifying the reasons for such eventual differences.
• Analysing costs and preparing economic-financial reports to support management and the Project Manager.
• Controlling the economic advancement of the project, ensuring compliance between the actual physical progresses and the accounting ones.
• Supporting procurement, workmanship and subcontract planning activities, ensuring the economic availability compared to the budget.
• Collaborating with the work accounting, procurement, HR and warehouse functions to align the economic and management data.

Job requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Cost Cost or similar role in construction sites of complex infrastructure (preferably railway and metro ones).
• Degree in Management or Civil Engineering or similar; alternatively, a Technical Diploma (Surveyor or equivalent) with significant experience in project control matters.
• Solid knowledge in the main construction site production processes an cost control systems.
• Knowledge of the work accounting processes and of the main general and industrial accounting ones.
• Operating knowledge regarding staff, warehouse and subcontracting management.
• Good knowledge of SAP amd of industrial accounting software (preferably VISION CPM and similar ones).
• Excellent knowledge of Office (Excel and Word, in particular).
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Available for transfers abroad (Saudi Arabia).
