We have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Controller to join the Kwinana Gas Power Generation 2 Team in Kwinana! In this role, you will effectively provide materials control support for the K2 Project, ensuring accurate tracking, recording and availability of materials in accordance with project procedures and construction requirements. 

 

 

Clough is delivering the design and construction of the Kwinana Gas Power Generation 2 project (K2), a new 220 MW gas fired power station to be built in Kwinana, south of Perth. K2 will deliver fast start, flexible generation to provide critical backup capacity that supports the increasing application of renewable energy across Western Australia.

Your focus will include:

 

  • Receive, check and record materials deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
  • Maintain accurate materials registers, stock records and issue logs within the project materials management system.
  • Track material movements, storage locations and issuance to support construction sequencing and work packs.
  • Identify and report material shortages, discrepancies, damages or non‑conformances to the Material Supervisor and Materials & Logistics Manager.
  • Support materials inspections, preservation and storage requirements in accordance with project procedures.
  • Coordinate with Construction and Engineering teams to ensure timely availability of materials for site activities.
  • Maintain materials documentation, including delivery dockets, inspection records and traceability information.
  • Support materials audits, reporting and close‑out activities, including surplus or returns management.

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • Certificate, Diploma or equivalent experience in materials control, logistics or warehousing.
  • Minimum 4–7 years’ experience in materials control or stores roles on major construction or EPC projects, including site‑based materials tracking and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and report effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to drive project outcomes
