The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.
Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.
This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Material Controller to join our Global Supply Chain team. This role is vital in supporting the delivery of high-quality materials management across the Suburban Rail Loop project.
As a Material Controller, you will play a key role in tracking, verifying, and coordinating the movement and usage of construction materials across the project, ensuring accurate documentation and on-time availability to support construction milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the flow of materials across the project site
- Ensure materials are properly stored, tracked, and recorded in the system
- Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, logistics, and site teams to maintain inventory accuracy
- Maintain up-to-date records of incoming and outgoing materials
- Support compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Assist the Material Manager in reporting and forecasting needs
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a materials or inventory control role, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Solid communication and coordination abilities across multiple teams
- Experience with inventory management software or systems i.e SAP
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
