Operating as a HSSE Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all personnel, in line with HSSE standards, statutory requirements and client specifications.
This role is based on site on the Darwin Ship Lift Facility project in the Northern Territory. FIFO or local arrangements may apply.
About the Project
Clough is delivering the Darwin Ship Lift Facility for the Northern Territory Government, located in the East Arm precinct at the Port of Darwin.
This major marine infrastructure project will support the maintenance and servicing of Defence, Australian Border Force and commercial vessels.
The scope includes construction of a 5,500-tonne capacity ship lift, wet berths and hardstand areas to enable efficient vessel repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain HSSE systems, procedures and compliance requirements
- Monitor HSSE performance, reporting, incidents and corrective actions
- Deliver inductions, training, toolbox talks and site safety communications
- Lead incident investigations, injury management and return-to-work programs
- Conduct audits, inspections and liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Relevant HS qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Driver’s licence
- Demonstrated competency in reporting and data analysis
