The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. 

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to join our General Services team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of maintenance activities across our Camp operations.

About the Role

In this position, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and optimising maintenance activities to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective site operations across our Lobs Hole Camp facility. 

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing maintenance planning and scheduling for day-to-day facility and equipment maintenance, long-term planning, shutdowns, and breakdowns
  • Assisting with site-wide maintenance scoping, quotation, purchasing, planning, stocktakes, and information distribution
  • Effectively interfacing with maintenance teams, site personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure activities are executed efficiently and prioritised appropriately
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of a site-wide maintenance strategy aligned with FGJV policies
  • Developing and maintaining short- and long-term maintenance schedules
  • Continuously reviewing schedules to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Managing and maintaining the master maintenance schedule and allocating weekly plans across departments
  • Integrating third-party schedules into site planning as required
  • Producing timely reports to support maintenance performance reviews and continuous improvement
  • Managing procurement of parts, equipment, and resources in collaboration with maintenance leadership
  • Supporting site management during maintenance execution
  • Ensuring compliance with cost control, purchasing, and financial processes
  • Scheduling workforce training, VOCs, and maintaining documentation to meet safety and compliance standards
  • Collaborating with other schedulers across multiple sites to manage shared responsibilities
  • Maintaining high data accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent record-keeping

Skills & Experience

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel; PowerPoint desirable)
  • Experience with CMMS systems (e.g. SAP, MEX or similar) and a proven ability to improve maintenance processes and data quality
  • A sound understanding of trade-based maintenance activities, or a willingness to learn
  • Experience contributing to Strategic Asset Management Plans (highly desirable)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a current Driver’s Licence
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Hold a current White Card (General Construction Induction)
  • Have full working rights in Australia
  • Be able to pass a criminal history check and pre-employment medical
