Clough in a joint venture with BMD, are working with the Northern Territory Government to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the development of the Darwin Ship Lift facility. 

 

We are seeking experienced Construction Supervisors to work within our Construction team for the Darwin Ship Lift Project! Working on a roster of 15 days on, 6 days off, FIFO from an Major Australian City or Darwin local.

  • Marine Lifting and Piling Supervisor
  • Fabrication and Welding Supervisor
  • Lifting and Rigging Supervisor
  • Electrical Installation Supervisor

Marine Lifting and Piling Supervisor.

The project is seeking an experienced Marine Lifting and Piling Supervisor with strong capability in operating floating barges and executing complex marine construction activities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in barge maneuvering using anchor winches and support vessels, and have hands‑on experience installing tubular piles up to 35 m long. Solid experience in general piling, pile‑top drilling, and wharf construction using floating crane barges is essential. The role requires strong problem‑solving skills, effective teamwork, and the ability to lead safe, efficient operations in a dynamic marine environment.

 

Fabrication and Welding Supervisor.

The project is seeking a Fabrication and Welding Supervisor with strong experience in wharf construction and general mechanical installations. The ideal candidate will provide on‑site leadership for fabrication and welding activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications. Knowledge and experience in coating applications is essential. This role requires the ability to coordinate crews, maintain safe work practices, and support efficient delivery in a marine‑focused construction environment.

 

Lifting and Rigging Supervisor.

The project is seeking an experienced Lifting and Rigging Supervisor with strong capability working with large crawler cranes and managing complex lifting operations. The ideal candidate will oversee sitewide rigging registers, interpret and execute complex lift plans, and manage up to four crane crews concurrently. Experience in wharf or marine construction is highly valued. This role requires strong problem‑solving skills, clear communication, and a commitment to upholding and promoting Company safety plans, procedures, and operational standards.

 

Electrical Installation Supervisor.  

The project is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Supervisor with a strong electrical trade background and proven capability delivering large‑scale infrastructure works. The ideal candidate will oversee electrical installation activities on site, coordinating subcontractors and self‑perform crews to ensure safe, high‑quality, and efficient delivery. This role requires hands‑on leadership, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to drive progress in a fast‑paced construction environment.
