Operating within a Joint Venture framework for e2x as our Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities and adapting plans as needed to meet schedule and cost targets.

The Opportunity

Your focus will include:

  • Supervise the planning, execution and completion of construction projects with a focus on Mechanical and Electrical works.
  • Ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Ensure construction work is performed within budget and schedule constraints of the Project.
  • Manage Subcontractor scope, progress and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure each direct report has a full understanding of the Project Execution Plan and lead the team to deliver a successful Project. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction projects 
  • Demonstrated experience working on rail infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience managing construction teams on major EPC or EPCM projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Training and experience in managing on-site safety and personnel issues
  • Current RIW (Rail Industry Worker) card holder, or willing and able to obtain RIW prior to commencement.
  • Diploma or Trade Qualification 
  • Construction White Card
