We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Planner to join the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in Perth! In this role, you will effectively ensure the smooth planning of all vehicles arriving on site. This includes getting the right vehicle to the right unload point and safely off site once unloaded. It will include both heavy and light traffic.
Perth Women and Babies Hospital
Webuild is delivering the design and construction of the New Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. Commissioned by the Western Australia Government, the project is destined to replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and will expand the healthcare services for women, children and their families in the State of West Australia, transforming the capacity of two important healthcare campuses: the Fiona Stanley Hospital complex and the Osborne Park Hospital.

Your focus will include:
- Management of all vehicles making deliveries to two different construction sites
- Supporting the project team to ensure materials delivery is in line with Construction schedule and constructability requirements
- Planning and forecasting material delivery requirements to ensure effective allocation and reporting to site teams for the delays and upcoming materials
- Assisting with delivery paperwork
- Be the site point of contact to assist Material & Logistic Manager, to ensure ongoing project reporting
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred
- Knowledge and experience with contemporary logistics management systems
- Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works and managing supplier relationships.
- Proven planning, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues with moderate complexity and guide others in the resolution of problem
- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment with a proactive adaptable attitude
- Sound knowledge of construction materials and services industry
- Transport regulatory awareness, compliance and information communication
