Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Lead to manage the contractual and procurement aspects of this multi-billion-dollar project. Based in Cooma, NSW, you will lead negotiations, ensure compliance, and support the delivery of critical materials, plant, equipment, services, and subcontracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement and negotiation of civil, engineering, supply, and construction contracts.
- Prepare and manage subcontract agreements and variations.
- Ensure compliance with commercial and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including legal, finance, and construction teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and government representatives.
- Ensure all procurement activities align with environmental, safety, and quality standards.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in contracts administration with Tier One contractors.
- Strong understanding of contract law, project deeds, and construction regulations.
- Experience in heavy infrastructure, power plants, or tunnelling is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control systems.
