For our Milan office, we are hiring a Functional Development & Support Manager.

 

The candidate, will be included in our IT and Digital Systems Department, reporting to the Head of Functional Development and Support, and will be directly involved in Business Intelligence and Financial Performance Management projects, both in Italy and abroad.

 

We are looking for a person with a great passion for technology, logic, and problem-solving skills, who can develop feasible solutions, while respecting criteria of economic efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the development of effective and efficient digital solutions, while verifying that they follow the best practices in qualitative terms, defining project plans, also ensuring compliance with the set deadlines, and managing communication with all the stakeholders involved
  • Analysing and collecting the functional requirements and technical specifications of company business applications, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Contributing to the functional design of the technological solutions to be developed, translating the requirements expressed by the functional departments into technical specifications that can be implemented by the development team
  • Ensuring the correct maintenance and management of the systems in all project phases
  • Supervising the continuous training of key users to provide the skills necessary for the operation of technologies
  • Collaborating in identifying the technological partners needed for the development and integration of technologies

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience gained in the functional development of advanced technological solutions, preferably in medium-large consulting firms
  • Excellent English knowledge (written and spoken)
  • Excellent understanding of the main control processes (Budget, Forecast, Rolling, Variance Analysis) in the economic-financial field, workforce, costs, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of the basic accounting logic (income statement, balance sheet, cash-flow, consolidated balance sheet and their reports), workforce planning (HC, FTE, Attrition, etc.) and project cost control (SIL, SAL, cost to cost , etc)
  • Understanding the processes related to the QHSE and CSR area is appreciated
  • Excellent understanding and experience in using and managing OLAP multidimensional models (e.g. IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics, Tagetik, Hyperion Planning, Anaplan, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics, IBM Cognos Workspace, SAP CO, Oracle Hyperion, SAP SuccessFactors, Microsoft PowerBI, Salesforce and related applications is appreciated
  • Resourceful, while prone for teamwork and problem solving. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to travel in Italy and abroad.
