We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Manager to join the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in Perth! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Project information technology systems and infrastructure.

Perth Women and Babies Hospital

Webuild is delivering the design and construction of the New Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. Commissioned by the Western Australia Government, the project is destined to replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and will expand the healthcare services for women, children and their families in the State of West Australia, transforming the capacity of two important healthcare campuses: the Fiona Stanley Hospital complex and the Osborne Park Hospital.

Your focus will include:

• To ensure the efficient operation of IT services, implementing new technologies while developing and implementing IT strategy to align with project goals.
• Implementation and continuous improvement of the IT operational management framework (IT management processes, systems and procedures). Focus on security measures to project data and cyber threats.
• Manage IT vendor performance, service level agreement compliance, and major IT incidents or escalations, and assist other IT functions with handling major incidents.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Responsible for well-being, priorities, performance and development of the function resources.
• Report on IT operational performance, including opportunity for improvements, and on progress/delays/issues/risks/decisions/opportunities, with reports targeting the different types of audience (project, corporate, executive, group).

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field – Information Technology, Computer Science
• Experience in Construction, Building sectors and knowledge of construction processes
• Previous experience in construction – BIM, AutoCAD, ERP related initiatives
• Demonstrated experience managing digital transformation initiatives in a construction context highly desirable
• Proactive approach, ability to provide solutions working across technical and non-technical stakeholders
